Who’s the Boss?Bullseye Records will be including the eeband’s version of “I’m On Fire” on their Bruce Springsteen Tribute album, due out across Canada in June. Other artists on the project include Elvis Costello and Pete Yorn. Summer Exposure TourIn July, the eeband will be touring with US based group Channel, playing dates in Ontario and the States. Stops will include: Lit Lounge (New York City), the Black Sheep (Wakefield), the Merchant (Kingston)... full schedule up soon. Bluesfest Showcase This Sunday in Ottawa!This Sunday, May 28th, the boys will be playing a set to showcase for a spot on the main stage at this year’s Bluesfest. If you’re in Ottawa, we would really love your support. The band is on at 8pm and there is a $5 cover going to the Blues in School program. This Modern LifeIt’s been 2 years since the release of “This Modern Life” and we’re proud to tell you that the album is still going strong. The disk has recently surpassed the 4000 mark and the next pressing will include live tracks as well as “Racking My Brain” the video. In the StudioThe boys are presently at work on the next record. Eric is producing the album and to date the band has 20+ songs to choose from. Among the new tracks are Dancing Underground, Losing my Mind and The Inside, which are now part of the live set. “I know this might sound cliché, but we’re going for more of a live energy rawness on this one, just like we do it on stage, to date we’ve got some really nice tones and great performances to boot.” EE. |
